I was treated for a hernia. The team not only explained things to me but they took time to answer the questions I had. They treated me with respect throughout the time I was with them. I am very pleased with the way I was cared for.
The one area where I would like them to consider whether it is possible to improve is that of giving some written advice on aftercare (eg a link to information on the hospital website). I did find some advice on the websites for two west country hospitals as well as the state of Albert in Canada, so I think it would be possible.
