Communication between hospital and family was very poor. Swan Ward telephone was rarely answered and no feedback post surgery was given to the family on the day of surgery which caused concern. Better support is needed to aid elderly patients who struggle with using a mobile phone as they are especially vulnerable during Covid restrictions. As a former chairman of Hammersmith Hospitals NHS trust, I was impressed by Swan Ward staff who were extremely patient and consistent in their care with vulnerable older patients. The ward was very clean but additional communication between the hospital and patient’s family is a key area for improvement especially when visiting restrictions due to Covid are in place.

Review of Maxillofacial - St Peter's written by a patient
8th October 2020

The Maxillofacial team at St Peter's are excellent, very professional and friendly. I felt very comfortable and relaxed during the removal of one of my wisdom tooth. I cannot thank Emma, Jo and the other lady (unfortunately I cannot remember her name) enough for the excellent job, approach to patient, kindness. I had an excellent experience at St Peter's - what a team of professionals! You are stars! Thank you very much once again.

I accompanied my elderly father yesterday to A&E. My father is very hard of hearing. I was able to stay with him all the way through his care pathway. Thank you to Ben, UCC, Becky, Triage, Mimi, ECG-bloods-cannula, Julian, Reg and the brilliant pottering team, staff on reception & CT. We were very well cared for. Joanne & Jim

Nabilah Rahman was lovely. She was kind listened well, full of smiles, just generally lovely. Looking forward to attending her class on Tuesdays to try and strengthen my poorly knees.

The care I get from my Rhematology department at St. Peters Hospital and in particular Kane Dasilva is excellent, he is courteous, polite and extremely understanding for my condition and needs, also he is always on time for my appointments. All I can say is hope he doesn't move or leave!

Review of NICU - St Peter's
7th September 2020

All the staff were friendly, helpful, caring and very accommodating towards me and baby especially with baby in NICU and me staying in longer as I am breastfeeding. Every time I wanted to know how baby was doing, the staff would find out as much information as possible and inform me. I was really taken care of very well.
