I had found it very difficult to really talk to anyone close about my mum and her struggles with cancer and all of what she went through whilst battling the illness. When she died nearly 4 years ago now. I had always feared talking or asking questions about her illness would cause me or my close family to feel the upset we all went through at the time so this was a way of gaining some confidence to be able to talk openly about my mum. It really gave me a chance to clear my head and talk through all my emotions.
