I received excellent care while at St Mary’s and my experience restored my faith in the NHS. We had some risks during the pregnancy and everyone we encountered was caring and sought to find answers and reassure us.

I have had three stays in the Lindo Wing (two births and a respiratory illness) and each time have been blown away by the calibre of the staff who have been unfailingly helpful and kind.

My care with Patricia was amazing! No complaints or concerns about Patricia she was truly incredible. Feedback provided separately for Patricia- she changed my life for the better. I can actually enjoy life now.
Any issues I had were prior to particia being involved in my care - medical sec LYDIA was very unkind and the opposite of trauma informed on the phone - had to go through PALS unfortubately. Appt letters often coming after appt has passed, I had to use the nhs app to track my appts. Appts double booked in different places under the same hospital.

I really consider myself to have been more than fortunate in finding myself at St. Mary’s under the excellent care of Ms. Ortega, ably supported by her Team, and by the kind and caring staff on Patterson Ward. Not only did Ms. Ortega give a full explanation of the operation prior to the day of surgery; took the time to explain again on the day of the operation, but others of her Team and the Anaesthetist were also willing to listen and respond to any of my questions. Following my surgery, I found follow-up care to be truly faultless. Most patients experience an element of anxiety prior to surgery of any kind, but I have to state that I felt absolute trust in this wonderful surgeon and her Team, and would have no hesitation in recommending St. Mary's as I found my experience under the care of Ms. Ortega and her colleagues to have been a positive one.

Whenever I need a medical treatment I always go to St. Mary's Hospital (Paddington).
I always get a high standard medical help!
For me St. Mary's Hospital is the best in England!

Appointment ran pretty much to time. Follow-up appointment was good - asked questions, checked what was the initial problem and discharged me.

I was in intensive care 2 years ago with septicaemia and I continue to have outpatient treatment as a result. I consider that the treatment and care I received saved my life.
