My wife and I felt totally supported as adoptive parents by the Cahms team. They were all understanding, non-judgmental and able to provide us with good advice on how to deal with some very difficult situations. We attended the MBAN course which was extremely valuable and a good opportunity to meet other parents/carers and learn from their experiences. The telephone helpline was another facility we have benefitted from. We are very sorry to hear that this assistance is no longer to be offered to adoptive families and can only feel this will be to the great loss of adopted children in the long run.
