The dedication and compassion of the team at Derriford made it possible for my Uncle to leave hospital and spend his last days in the comfort of his own home, surrounded by love and familiar surroundings, for which we are eternally grateful. Once home, the team's kindness, professionalism, and commitment to providing personalised care was exactly what we needed to ease the burden at such a difficult time. On the day he passed away, the St Luke's team members who arrived on the scene as paramedics attempted resuscitation were incredible and their thoughtful gesture of gently ensuring he looked peaceful and dignified in the immediate hours after his passing brought us all immense comfort. We are profoundly grateful to have had St Luke's by our side at this difficult time.
