My poor mother was in St Helier for nearly six months, she was admitted for low blood pressure and it was never corrected unfortunately she passed away early this year she never made it home. We were never kept informed what was going on with her care and as a family we can honestly say she did not receive even a quarter of the care she should of and therefore not only died suddenly but also in a very undignified way! I would never recommend this hospital
good allround service
The nursing staff in the opd clinic were friendly and understanding
Always treated well.
My GP referred me after an ultra sound scan showed a lump on my liver, the hospital contacted me the same day and arranged for me to speak to a doctor the next day. He sent me forms for various blood tests and arranged a CT scan 2 days later.
An appointment was arranged by telephone to see a doctor to discuss the results 5 days after the scan.
Within 9 days of referral St Helier had carried out all necessary steps to help me proceed with my medical care.
No wonder there were thoughts about closing this one. Terrible Service. Never want to return!
Really long wait hours through I came through 111. Really silly way of treating already sick patients
I saw dr recica in dermatology and had two procedures he and the nursing staff were excellent I was seen on time treated with great respect and the doctor explained the procedure in detail and carried them out efficiently neatly and painfree what a shame he will be leaving a loss to the hospital snd is as patients!
