Have been under St Helier hospital for many years. I have always found them helpful and Friendly. On my latest visit Dr Ashish Gupta was very professional and friendly. He had gone above and beyond for my care.

I had my baby here and during my pregnancy midwife told me to shut up as having a speculum was no big deal despite the fact that she was very rough in her physical approach . My father was in A& E and a junior dr spoke to him in a manner which was completely devoid of respect . This happened on two other occasions with 2 different care of the elderly consultants- HOW IRONIC . How mighty they regarded themselves without considering that they themselves would become old . When my father was coming home for palliative care one consultant actually was talking to him about where he had himself practiced medicine ( my father was a retired GP. He spoke to him as if he didn’t care he was dying & in point of fact the only caring medical staff on the team were the medical students who were very kind & clearly could see and were embarrassed by the arrogance . In the cardiology unit he had lovely registrars and consultants , what a contrast ! I cannot praise them enough . So kind & prepared to go that extra mile .

I have always found the staff to be caring, polite and very attentive. All my appointments have been on time and communication by text and email has been perfect. Many thanks.

Pharmacy in st Heliers is absolutely atrocious! Why can st Helier never figure things out when other hospitals in the area can.

Very pleased with everyone in the Davies Unit for Nephrology. What a lovely experience! The wait time was a tad bit longer but utterly rectified via the staff’s politeness, warmth and openness. Very friendly and considerate staff! Absolutely first class treatment and I’d go as far as to say this department offers excellent service on par with Chelsea & Westminster and Brompton equivalent.

Every member of Ms Haques staff was welcoming and kind. I would like to thank them for their wonderful caring manner. Ms Haque herself is charming and makes you feel at ease. She is through, care and very professional. Thank you all so much for your kind care I received.

Most disappointing hospital. Told to arrive at 7 a.m. and, with other patients, found doors closed. Very cold standing outside. Opened after a few minutes and my name was not on the list. Delay. Delay also for those on the list as the lady receiving us did not know the door access code. Eventually, a call to a ward confirmed that I was on the list and I was allowed in from the cold. This was very poor treatment. Brusque reception in ward with a question from staff as to where I was and why I was late! In registering this criticism I have experience of visiting Epsom and Ashtead hospitals where reception is far better than at St. Helier.
