Hannah was an excellent bereavement counsellor - I had had lots of bereavements over my life and Hannah helped me to unpack this complex picture of grief and help me move on in a positive way. At the outset I was wrapped in a blanket and wasn't getting up out of bed or doing anything in my life. I was completely immobilized by grief and distress. Hannah helped me to work through lots of difficult feelings and allowed me space to respect the relationships that I had had with each of my friends and family members who had died. She was an excellent listener and allowed me to talk freely without interrupting. Then she made a professional comment to draw all my haphazard thoughts and feelings together -to help me make sense of each loss and work through each one in turn. I feel like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders. The way forward now appears clear. Hannah shared a very significant journey with me. More than that... she guided me safely through the darkest time of my life. Thank you

Suggested improvements
The service was excellent. I had to wait a little time - as there was so much demand for the service. The only thing that could have been done better was to get in touch and explain that I was going up in the queue for the service and to keep me informed. I really appreciate all the help that has been provided and would like to thank everyone.
