I was seen at the Cardiac Surgery Unit. I was acknowledged quickly and then moved around the different test areas I needed. Julie and Helen in the pre-assessment team were particularly patient and caring. ECG and X ray staff were also very efficient and kind. My proposed surgery was clearly explained by the consultant. I felt more confident about my impending surgery after this visit. Thank you all.

After exposing irregularities, the hospital staff targeted me with ethnic profiling and suggested that I, a British citizen who has funded the nhs through taxes all my life, may not be entitled to nhs "care".
They want to see my passport and told me that if I had a problem with that, I should contact their overseas office.
Why are British born patients being asked to call the overseas office?

Complaints team either ignores Complaints or proactively antagonises vulnerable patients.
I don't know how they live with themselves.

I had my knee replacement surgery performed by Mr A Alzaawia on 4/5/23
at Welco Hospital. I must express my gratitudes for his unwavering dedication and outstanding care he provide to me . It is because of healthcare professionals like you that individuals like me can face the challenges of medical procedures with confidence.

Outstanding care given and very patient. Only thing I would change is having the fact that I am blind written uo at my bed so caregivers would know before speaking to me.
