My husband recently had an angiogram and stent at Barts hospital after a sudden unexpected admission to hospital with chest pain. This was his first experience of hospital of which he was terrified and needle phobic. The staff on 3D on 5/11/2018 were all very kind, compassionate and understanding of his phobias and patiently explained everything and gave him time to understand the process from the health care assistants, staff nurses and advanced nurse practitioner they all provided an excellent service. The doctors did a wonderful job and he is now home recovering. Barts was very clean, the staff professional at all times as a nurse of many years in the NHS they were all exceptional.
The hospital met all my needs good treatment and best careing and thank you NHS and all the team
St Barts understand all your needs and give good care and after care also a big thanks for haveing a NHS
Attending the device clinic, this took more than 40 mins and then had to wait to see the doctor and was not given any timeframe as to how long we would have to wait. I approached the doctor to ask, as I needed to get to work but was brushed away and told ‘hopefully not long’. Given the fact that I attended with my my and the appointment had already taken much longer than expected. Clinicians and staff have to be considerate towards people’s commitment and simply cannot expect people to wait for hours on end
I feel really lucky to leave near such a great hospital which has served me and my family extremely well for over 26 years
