Share review of St Albans City Hospital

I was recently an inpatient for a total knee replacement. I can honestly say I received excellent treatment throughout the whole of my stay. All of the staff who I had contact with were polite, respectful and diligent in carrying out their jobs. Though they were clearly under pressure and under staffed I didn't feel as though I was kept waiting at all or that meeting my needs was too much trouble. During my time in the hospital it was my birthday and due to COVID I wasn't allowed visitors so one of the staff nurses arranged a little birthday cake and the singing of happy birthday. I have been in this hospital for a number of procedures over the last 10 years and have never been disappointed with the care I have received and would recommend it.
