all wonderful
Just had total knee replacement in De La Mare ward and could not find any faults or concern at all. The staff were so helpful and nothing to much trouble to make my visit comfortable.
I have been under the care of this hospital's outpatient department for several years and have always found it extremely satisfactory.
Excellent care in a COVID environment - i felt treated as an individual and any concerns listened to and completely safe. The nursing team and my consultant were truly professional and outstanding.
I visit the hospital’s two different departments for my ailments and each time I am treated with respect and staff always ready to help. The hospital is clean makes one feel safe.
I feel welcome each time for my appointments.
Brilliant care by a team that made me welcome on the ward while maintaining professional standards at all times
I was recently an inpatient for a total knee replacement. I can honestly say I received excellent treatment throughout the whole of my stay. All of the staff who I had contact with were polite, respectful and diligent in carrying out their jobs. Though they were clearly under pressure and under staffed I didn't feel as though I was kept waiting at all or that meeting my needs was too much trouble. During my time in the hospital it was my birthday and due to COVID I wasn't allowed visitors so one of the staff nurses arranged a little birthday cake and the singing of happy birthday.
I have been in this hospital for a number of procedures over the last 10 years and have never been disappointed with the care I have received and would recommend it.
I had both of my knees replaced at this hospital. My care and treatment were second to none. Everyone were so nice and helpful.
Good care.
The nurse allocated to me was lovely, very caring and considerate. The hospital was spotless. Booking in was easy an there were no delays in being allocated my bed for day surgery. I was treated with respect and dignity at all times. I was just disappointed that the anaesthetist was late arriving at the theatre after explaining to her that I had hard damaged chemo veins that were extremely painful. After several attempts by another anaesthetist and my hand filling with fluid, the anaesthetist that visited me on the ward arrived. After another couple of attempts (5 in total) I was finally asleep in tears and in excruciating pain. I felt very let down after the anaesthetist in the ward made a point of pointing out to me how experienced she was and then wasn’t at the theatre when I arrived. I felt like a pin cushion!
