I recently, September 5th, had heart bypass surgery at St Anthony's Hospital and I cannot praise the staff highly enough. From the moment I entered the reception area, I was treated with the utmost care and attention. All the staff, from the cleaners to the surgeons made me feel totally comfortable and at ease during my stay there. I was, of course, worried about my operation but soon discovered that my fears were unfounded as the treatment I received was second to none and even my local nurse said that she hadn't seen such a good job before. Once again, my sincerest thanks to the hospital and its staff.

It is very clear that the staff at St Anthony's (without exception) are happy in their work, and take great pride in their hospital. All were extremely pleasant and helpful.

I received excellent nursing care at St Anthony’s. The nurses were kind, caring, efficient and responsive. I also received excellent physio and aqua therapy which gave me the confidence to exercise at home and strengthen my leg , hip and back and therefore recover quickly.

Really great hospital. Great doctors, nursing staff and physios. I found the hydrotherapy pool to be of huge benefit for my rehabilitation from knee replacement surgery.

My family have attended St Anthony's for a number of years for various procedures all of which were to the highest standard, so i had no hesitation in recommending my partner to see a Gyno specialist which resulted in having a day procedure on the 4th December 2018. This was all carried out to the highest standarad but unfortunately this is when everything started to fall apart as far as post operation follow up and support is concerned. The procedure undertaken was supposed to be the prelude for a far more detailed operation which would need to be undertaken once the results and feedback were received from the consultant. As of the 8th January 2019 we are still awaiting the written results of the procedure undertaken including most importantly the follow up recommendations for further surgery. As for a follow up post operation consultation at the hospital which is what we thought was standard practise based on past experience there is no sign of that either.! We have made numerous phone calls asking the hospital to follow this up for us but after a month i cannot believe they are in any way pro-active enough in this totally unsatisfactory situation. So my partners pain continues on a daily basis and without the written report we cannot move forward and arrange the follow up operation. We will not be using St Anthonys either for the main operation or any future consulations as we are so annoyed and upset with the whole situation considering we are paying for this complete lack of service.

Very good hospital, & an added bonus for my total hip replacement was their new hydropool. Staff were very nice, efficient & caring. Only slight criticisms; no raised toilet seats provided ( & v difficult for “hip” patients to use the very low WCs) Hotel aspect quite good food 7 out of 10 & TV a bit limited (no channel guide even!)
