I have recently had a porta cath fitted by Matt Simpson and his team what fantastic care I received. I was awake for the procedure having just local anaesthetic. Matt and Russel made me feel totally at ease and chatted to me all the way through what excellent care. These guys are a true credit to your hospital and extremely clever. Thank you.

The only negative thing was that the hospital forgot to make my follow up appointments and so it took a bit of chasing between the surgeon’s secretary and general appointments office to actually get seen for my check ups and wound care

Every single thing about my experience in this hospital was incredible a part from one memebr of staff who was quite rude however, one memebr of staff would not allow me to rate the rest of the incredible staff the way i have in this review

This place is amazing the staff from the second you walk in to the second you walk out you are looked after 100% friendly clean the food is like a 5 star hotel I cannot praise this place enough , my appointment s were always on time and the public toilets were spotless every single time I visited THANKYOU METHLEY PARK

My first appointment with Mr Spyrou was 14 years ago. I was going through the menopause, which unfortunately, was causing changes to my breasts, they reduced in size. I explained to Mr Spyrou that I just wanted my shape back and he totally understood my reasons for doing so and we decided which implants would be beneficial. I chose relatively small implants which were perfect for my size. I was extremely happy with the results. Fast forward 14 years. I was to have the implants changed at 10 years but a family situation prevented this then Covid happened- hence the 14 years. I’ve now had the surgery for the replacement implants in February this year and everything went smoothly. I’m really happy with all the pre-care and after-care given. My stay in The Spire Methley Park Hospital in Leeds was very professional, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. If in the future I need to see Mr Spyrou again I would not hesitate at all, he was very understanding, helpful and explained everything I needed to know. If anyone I knew who was considering surgery I would recommend him.

Fantastic hospital I had two nights after my surgery I couldn’t fault all the nursing staff that took great care of me and the catering team the food was outstanding

I had an operation cancelled on the planned day. The hospital worked hard to ensure that it was rescheduled as soon as possible. Great facilities.
