I recently had a operation at this hospital, Anlaby Hull. I cant recommend the staff enough, I have never met such caring, wonderful and pleasant people. My consultant was extremely professional in every detail and I couldn't wish to meet a nicer person. However the building is aged tatty and cramped, the reception reminds me a 70s swimming pool, noisy squashed and a total lack of privacy. The rooms are clean and the cleaning staff couldn't be more apologetic regarding the condition the rooms are in. My garage is in better condition. Thats bad enough, now, the food. Its the absolute pits. I don't know who is in charge but you as directors of this company needs to remove that person and suggest he or she applies for a job in a cheap takeaway, it’s diabolical. I do not frequent these type of places but I did have to have an operation 18 months ago and I choose Nuffield at York. Far superior in every way. Please don't waste your money here its that bad. The room I can just tolerate but the food is typically cheap tacky and disgusting, again, I must stress the staff are unbelievably caring but are let down by what I would call, a fly by night. Spires directors, you need to sort it. A very disappointed client.
