As i pointed out to the concierge
After a knee or hip op the shower room should have somewhere to place soap at a high level (to avoid the need to bend down)
The shower room extractor fan was not operational.
The buildings gutters appeared blocked.
Minor issues in an otherwise pristine place of care.

I had a very pleasant stay very friendly staff though out my stay nothing was to much very comfortable room and facilities

I recently had a two night stay in the Spire Harpenden following a Total Hip Replacement. The care I received was excellent from the ward staff, night staff, physiotherapists and the catering staff. I would recommend this facility but would like to highlight the insufficient parking.

£270 for 20min consultant. Then told to get mri scan £599.Then another £150 for results. Then told to go to GP. My advice would be go straight to GP and save 1k

Wonderful staff and atmosphere at this hospital.
Care was carried out with a smile, and I was checked on regularly. Nothing was too much trouble.
My room was kept very clean by cheerful helpful cleaning staff.
I was (almost) sorry to leave!

All the staff I came into contact with were great. Nothing was too much
trouble. It was as if you only had to think of something and they appeared.
In hind sight I think it would have benefited my recovery if I had greater
movement in my knee by the time I left , but at the time I was happy to go home.

I don't know how the care could be improved - it was excellent.
All of the staff were polite and friendly, did what they said they were going to do and never gave the impression that they had other, more important matters to which they needed to attend. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Everything was very well organised and the after-discharge care was great.

I felt very well cared for during my stay at the Spire Harpenden. All the staff were very caring and attentive to my needs. My room was comfortable and the food very good.
