I had cataract surgery at Spire, it was all fine and well performed, the only problem was two days after my operation I had a problem with my one eye and as it was a Sunday I could not contact anyone who could help, the Lady I got hold of at Spire was willing to help but I am afraid all she could offer was for me to drive to a hospital in Brighton, fortunately my problem passed on its own, and all was fine, but I think in that particular case I would have been happier to have known who to contact or where to go

Funny thing to say, but a very relaxing, comfortable stay in hospital. More like a hotel than hospital. Very kind, caring staff

Simply a brilliant place. Friendly staff with lots of smiles, and a good welcome. Spotlessly clean. A relaxed, peaceful environment which has a calming effect as you walk through the doors.

Nursing staff were fantastic - both day and night shifts.
Even though they were extremely busy, they would still spend time with me and have a little chat to ensure I was happy and comfortable at all times.
Bathroom facilities are good and the shower had wonderful pressure :-)
Although due to the type of surgery I had I was unable to eat either before or after the operation, the food on offer it smelled really good

My stay in Spire Gatwick Park Hospital was a pleasant time both pre operative and post operative.The day staff and night staff were tireless in their efforts to look after me,they were friendly,caring and professional..
