The care & attention were extremely good & efficient
Amazing
This was my first experience of private sector care (as an NHS referral).
It was a good experience.
Staff were all lovely.
Service and food excellent.
This was an excellent hospital and I was very lucky that I was able to be treated there.
All the staff, from those on the front desk, nurses, physiotherapists (especially Maryanne) were excellent, friendly, patient and always professional. I was so impressed with them all.
For a hospital stay with no friends or family able to visit due to covid, it was a great time!
All the appointments leading up to my hip replacement surgery were notable for the positivity and encouragement of the staff and took place efficiently and on time. During my stay in hospital, the effectiveness of the support from the staff was outstanding and contributed to a fast recovery from the operation and great progress on regaining mobility.
From the outset I felt confident and safe in the hospital's ability to take care of me. The hospital was clean, the staff helpful and friendly, the food choices and presentation good.
Treated with care respect, care and consideration by ALL members of staff. Just one thing I didn't know to bring a credit card for t.v. Was all sorted by phone then used credit card on line later.
This is my second visit to this Hospital for knee Surgery as a NHS patient. On both occasions I was treated with the utmost respect and kindness.
I am so grateful to all the members of Staff for all their care, patience, welcome chats and understanding. The late night cups of tea and biscuits to accompany my painkillers, were so welcome when sleep wouldn’t come due to postoperative pain - thank you.
I would highly recommend the Spire Lea Hospital to anyone seeking treatment.
I have just had a hip replacement at the Spire Lea Cambridge Hospital. This was my third surgery at this hospital; that in itself speaks well for the hospital. The nurses and care attendants are friendly, caring, and helpful. They are also come into your room with a positive attitude which, as a patient, is uplifting. Even with all of the stress they have been under the past year and three-quarters, they always took a moment to make a friendly and/or personal comment.
The hospital is immaculate. My room was thoroughly cleaned every day. I felt very safe from any possible encounter with Covid.
The food is good and the chef/cook will offer something not on the menu, if you're feeling poorly. S/he made me chicken soup and that was the first thing that tasted really good after my surgery; it wasn't on the menu.
I can't think of a complaint. From check-in to check-out, I was treated with care in a respectful and kind way.
Lea Spire is an excellent hospital all staff are most kind, caring and understanding. Everything about the hospital is first class, care, food, car park, reception, waiting areas, wards, operating procedures and most of all the professionalism of all the staff. My sincere thanks.
