I was taken on-board as a day-patient (morning in/afternoon out). Great choice on the light menu, all fresh. Staff very polite and accommodating. Front desk insanely helpful going an extra mile for me which was a super big bonus. I cannot thank them enough. There's only one thing that could be improved in my opinion. As you never know what time is the surgery (early morning, noon, afternoon, evening) you don't know what to plan for. I was the lucky one being taken to the operating room early in the morning, therefore, I was provided with a nice brunch right after the surgery. I wasn't able to get back home until early evening so had to stay in the hospital slowly getting hungrier and hungrier. You'd expect, a situation like this could be easily planned for and I should have taken some snacks to look after myself, but the truth is when you're expecting a surgery, the stress takes over, and planning tends to fail. I'd expect the hospital to offer me at least a paid-for lunch/supper menu but it wasn't an option despite being a private patient. I think, if properly planned, it could add A LOT to the overall experience. One more thing. Nursing. A bit less on their shoulders could improve the experience as well, as it felt like they had always something else to do and were rushing through the procedures and questions needing to go and check another patient/paperwork so I felt uncomfortable asking them (my nurse) any questions. It could have been only me, as I have never been to a hospital before, but may be worth mentioning.
