My care was under my consultant. The hospital provided the facilities and post operation care, but did not have the specialist post-operation support for my conditions. I was treated very well and staff were very nice and catering service was good. The nurses I saw during my stay were assistant nurses, they were very busy and had little time to talk. There was a progress notice board on the wall for communication with patient (i.e. me), but was not filled in; the nurses were too busy. Some equipment, like the fridge and light switch, did not work. On discharge, I found that some of the information on the discharge note is not correct. I feel that more senior nurses, like the sister, should check with the patient at least once a day. Otherwise, a pleasant hospital.
