My one criticism is that, on my second operation on my cataracts in 2 weeks, I was asked to go through the admissions questions 4 or 5 times by separate people, even after I had given all the information on my first admission 2 weeks perviously. It's difficult to understand why this information cannot be digitalised so all staff can access it. After all, I have been a patient for various matters there for a number of decades so a central information system would be a big help.

In August of this year I had an Achilles operation performed by Mr Welck. From my initial admission, through the operation and overnight stay to my discharge the whole team, from the nurses, care staff, anaesthetist and Mr Welck performed excellently.
Everyone was professional and friendly. All my questions were answered and my care, comfort and recovery appeared to be their main concern.
I would thoroughly recommend Bushey Spire hospital.

They need to sort out the car park. There just isn't enough spaces.

All the staff were friendly and supportive. They explained what procedures they were about to do and helped to allay inevitable nervousness before an operation.
It was an extremely hot day and they did their best to keep the place cool.
My only criticism is the lack of parking spaces. It is very stressful trying to find a space, particularly before an appointment or operation. I have been five times recently and each time it has been really difficult to park.

I am recovering from two new knees
One in February and one in July 2019
I cannot fault my treatment I was treated with kindness and respect at all times by all staff and physios
My consultant was excellent
As an NHS patient I was treated well
The catering staff were helpful and the food was very good
