I can not recommend Southmead Hospital enough. All the Staff throughout are kind,cheerful, helpful and go above and beyond for their patients. I was in Gate 32B and A&Eand honestly they were fantastic can't praise them enough.

Southmead is a great hospital and from my experience run by lovely caring staff. The efficiency from the moment you enter the main reception and greeted by the helpers to receiving you treatment is excellent. From my recent have experience they are handling all the extra pressure on them due to Covid19 admirably.

My experience in A&E from start to finish was excellent! I cannot thank ALL the staff at Southmead enough for the their efficient, caring and hard working manner, especially as this extremely difficult time! EVERYONE was going above and beyond and I was truly grateful. Thank you

Staff were very professional and kind at all times.
Rooms were cleaned very regularly and the individual rooms were really beneficial.
Food was good, served with a friendly chat and there was plenty of tea and coffee available.
I couldn’t fault the care from the staff in all departments of the hospital.

When you've been to Southmead hospital several times you know what to expect For newcomers I'm sure the layout to various departments could be further simplified

I have been admitted to Southmead on a number of occasions and also been an outpatient. I would 100% recommend this hospital to anyone. The staff are caring and respectful. This also extends to the shops that are within the building. The time that I have to wait for my appointments are not long and I am usually in and out within an hour of my appointment time.
Keep up the good work. I know their are many challenges with such a big hospital but you are doing a good job
