This was my first stay in hospital for over 50 years and I was not altogether sure what to expect. In the event I was very pleasantly surprised. Despite the pressures under which they were working all the nurses and staff in Gate 32B were exceedingly friendly and helpful, even when my cannula became disconnected in the night and my bedding and nightclothes became covered in blood!
I had expected the food to be rather like school dinners (fondly remembered of old!) but it was unexpectedly good. The housekeeper even made special provision for me when I had to miss my meal at the normal lunchtime owing to having an MRI scan at that time. I was very much put at my ease and would confidently recommend this hospital.
