I was in ICU and then a ward for a total of 4 days. The staff on ICU could not be faulted although there was a lack of clarity about the time my husband was allowed to stay (we are not local to the hospital) . The quality of the food was an outstanding feature and I welcome the commitment to local provision of ingredients cooked on the premises. Each day there was a wide choice, cheerfully served with hot dishes arriving hot. I particularly enjoyed the chocolate and beetroot dessert, a recipe of the in-house chef I understand.
