I have been shown great courtesy.respect and empathy by all the staff of the Southend Breast care clinic, Oncology and Radiotherapy Departments, following my diagnosis of early breast cancer in April 2016. In particular I would like to mention my surgeon Mr Harun Thomas, who has a lovely gentle, reassuring manner. I felt involved in the decision making, treated with great kindness and respect, and am extremely pleased with the outcome of the mammoplasty which Mr Thomas carried out. My heartfelt thanks. He is backed up by a wonderful team of Breast care nurses, and all the ladies on reception are so welcoming and friendly too. A great team, who make a very scary situation much easier to cope with, as do the wonderful charities and voluntary teams who support their live-saving work. Thank you so much. Susan Sleigh-Johnson
