The care, concern and kindness in Shalom Haire is wonderful.
It is sad the funding is not available to continue with the polliteness care, that has been given in Shalom Haire, and needed by very ill patients.
Very pleased with the care l recently from shalon there and more funding should be given from couldn't in government to rely to keep its place to help others.
I Contacted Shalom House myself to ask advice.

You can improve it by making night care available at Shalom, many of us had planned to end our days there in that wonderful atmosphere with those caring staff on hand.
This is the only palliative care home in Pembrokeshire (It really is home from home) and the money ha now been withdrawn and made this impossible for us!
It is a great sadness that financial constraints have led to the overnight closure of the facility. The daytime care has been a great comfort and solace to me, but I |think that the daily travelling involved means that patients who are frail or in pain cannot make the journey.
