It would be really good if Shalom House could be funded by the government, so that they could care for 24/7, as I think that patients will benefit from this.

The team were the best on all matters you felt very homely from the time of arrival to the time of departure. The food was top class and the staff were the best getting you up in the morning all day and getting you a bed when you wanted to. With my serious illness as my lungs have finished so am grateful and an organ 24/7 up to 8am so speed and lot of help and the staff were the best if called on they were there giving for help. Yes a weak there was a great help and meant a lot to me as I have on my own.

My spelling is very bad. I only wish I had money to put into the system. My day visit I feel very good when I go in, but I feel a darex site better when I leave. I was contacted early. There is lots more I could say, the staff have been wonderful for me. The staff is a great team they work well together there is much trouble they can't do.

I couldn't fault this service, I only wish that it was permanently available. The staff are wonderful and I have complete faith and trust in them all.

Shalom is by far the most attentive and professional care team that I have encountered. This included the care and understanding of individual needs - by setting up a programme for the length of the stay. It is of great concern and disappointment that Shalom has to survive solely on donations and charity as there is no other facility like it in our region. I would have no hesitation in recommending Shalom and can't wait for my next visit.

We were refereed to Shalem House by our specialist nurse, my husband was parkinson's. Associated dementia. The staff went out of their way to ensure that he was relaxed and secure and that I could have a good break. The CT is liaising with our social serviced OT to make some changes to his chair. Sling - good team working across agencies my husband is happy to return in December due to the excellent experience he had.
