u can’t fault scunthorpe a&e and the nurses and doctors i saw yesterday the only thing i don’t agree with is that i wasn’t admitted that wasn’t the doctors fault it was the surgeons that came to see me keep sending me home with more and more painkillers instead of just admitting me and taking the problem away but i can’t thank the doctor who i saw Dr Mustfa (can’t remember his last name ) and all nurses and HCA was fine

i think the people the doctors call need to actually realise that they can’t just send people home with painkillers when it clearly can’t be handle at home

Care was excellent- bit long winded waiting for X-ray and reporting of same. Then another lengthy wait for ct scan and again waiting for results. Arrived at 4.35pm and left at 12.39. Not that long I suppose in the grand scheme of things. Just felt frustrated by all the hanging about but then again it was very busy and many people were a lot worse than me. I don’t know how the staff keep on smiling throughout but everyone from the porters nurses and doctors were really nice even when I was a little fed up with the wait. It was worth the wait though as I now know that I haven’t broken or fractured my hip in a fall. I just need to give myself time to heal now.

Not a lot. It would have been nice to be asked if I wanted a sandwich or cuppa but nobody has time. As soon as this was pointed out they did offer but I didn’t want to take up any more of any ones valuable time so I did not take them up on the offer. I suppose everyone is too busy on the job for thinking about this but it would have been nice to have been asked. I would just like to say they have the patience of saints with some of the people they have to deal - including the staff on reception.

I was seen very promptly. Kept up to date and did.not feel rushed by the attending Dr who was very open and honest about my condition. In fact, one of the most relatable Drs I have ever experienced in a hospital setting. Very professional whilst showing genuine care and compassion. The supporting nurses were also extremely compassionate

You gave pain relief very quickly. I would have liked further tests for the underlying cause. However understand there are protocols preventing the team from doing this

Nurse was very harsh.. didn’t give us any pain relief when discharging is. Wasn’t very compassionate or caring at all

Experience was good The only negative wa when booked in Sitting waiting for two to four hours It would have nice to have been informed How far you were away fro seeing the Doctor. Everything else doctors especially and the nursing team were excellent

I waited 2 and a half hours and didn't even get called to triage I had bad kidney pain and could sit no longer I was very disappointed
