Thank you for supporting me. The system is very restrictive, but it has to be that way, very frustrating some times.

It’s the best staff I have ever been in touch with, they are all perfect. It’s clean every day, everything is done for you, from the physical to the mind. You cannot improve it.

I felt like i had to shout to be heard, and had to ask a few times to get things. Staff talk with one another but not with us, so I didnt feel very involved. On the whole staff were very good, but some were better than others. Some staff rushed us through our meals- at my age I take things at a slower pace but for some staff this wasn't okay. The social distancing with the virus meant some things were more difficult. I would have liked to go and take my medication in private in the clinical room but it isn't big enough. I would also like a television and jug of water in my bedroom so that I dont have to ask every time or contend with more dominant patients.

I am very grateful for all the support and guidance I have received from all of the staff team and am hopefully in a much more positive state of mind than when I was admitted some weeks ago. So deeply thank you to all of you.

I cant speak highly enough, the care couldn't be better, in particular the therapy team. Sandra was very special, baking cakes and asking people to help. Rachel's relaxation groups were very helpful too. The tablet to video call family was wonderful.

I have been so pleased with the staff, they have responded brilliantly to his needs and done everything they could to look after him, all whilst looking after other patients too. Overall five stars. We did have some issues when he first arrived. The first room that Bob was in was not conducive with settling his mental state, there were lots of issues with the bathroom and the heating which weren't repaired straight away. He kept demanding moving, and was quite distressed because of this. He was moved to another room and this was much nicer, although there were still some challenges controlling the heating. Another issue was that who his named nurse was was unclear, and it wasn't kept up to date on the poster in his room.

I thought the ward was okay really. Breakfast most days was brilliant for what i want, and I liked dinner, although five o’clock is pretty early for dinner. The lunches were a bit undercooked though, and again the lunch is a bit early. The lunch and dinner also feel very rushed, you feel like you have to be finished in ten minutes or it will be thrown away. The staff were absolutely brilliant, I can’t believe how good they are with the patients they have. They have the patience of saints, they all deserve congratulations. The staff really concentrate on the patients.

I loved the girls and boys who worked on the ward, they were brilliant, like family. No higher praise than that. If I was upset they were all there for me, even when it was hard and they couldn't support me in person.
