This place was very hygienic and friendly. When they wanted to weigh me and get my height measurements they would make me get onto the scales in a friendly caring way, even though I was completely happy to get onto the scales anyway. This whole experience was fine and I didn't mind spending time there at all. All the nurses were friendly and caring towards me and the nurse at reception didn't mind us although we forget our paperwork. The royal Victoria infirmary is a pleasant hospital and I personally think the whole building is beautiful, especially the paediatric ward where there is lovely pictures that the patients have done.
I would recommend the Royal Victoria Hospital in Newcastle to anyone. The service is 100% professional.
Fantastic hospital. Nurses in the Children's outpatients department are always friendly and patient with my son, he enjoys his visits
the hospital staff were great. Very helpful & upfront about everything. The only downside was the time waiting to see the doctor.
The RVI provides an excellent standard of care.
I was sent to Newcastle Victoria from a second referral after being diagnosed with a medical condition 8 years ago. In all honesty I felt I received far better health care from Newcastle than my local hospital. I was examined by various consultant doctors and nurses who where all very warm and pleasing to deal with. But it was the health care in general that really highlighted a great working hospital and team of specialists working diligently for our care and well being.
The hospital was very clean and the staff were very helpful.
