The post operative follow-up care after a day surgery at Haywards Heath hospital was scheduled at the Royal Sussex Hospital. The care and treatment has been excellent but the conditions the staff have to work in and patients treated in is very poor. The audiology booths, particularly, are very old and not at all sound proof which makes hearing tests a bad experience for the patients and must be very difficult for the staff to work in. I understand there are a lot of changes ongoing at this hospital and hope this department receives the upgrade it deserves. The car park facilities are appalling with narrow spaces, darkness in all areas and flooding where the payment machines are located, making parking a dreadful experience.
