Planned c section went very well. Surgical team and my midwife in recovery were great.
Postnatal staff were pretty awful, especially the night team. Not a single midwife on postnatal touched my baby, and due to covid my husband wasn't allowed to stay. I had to try and take care of my baby alone when I couldn't move or feel anything. Very loud conversations overnight (just general chitchat) and the lactation specialist was horrific. She had me and baby in hysterics and was getting visibly frustrated when my baby wouldn't breastfeed to the point I asked her to move away as she was man handling my baby and my nipple without asking me if she could touch me.
