I have Advanced Prostate Cancer for which I have undergone Chemotherapy, Radiotherapy at St Lukes, Royal Surrey combined with ongoing hormone injections at my GP surgery. Having had a rather difficult experience on initial diagnosis at a different NHS trust and am very grateful to consultants, nurses and other staff at St Luke's for taking on my case and providing such good care which definitely has increased my prospects of life expectancy (for how long is anyone's guess!). I also have had the opportunity to participate in the STAMPEDE clinical trial providing additional medication and medical supervision by the research team who are great! The Fountain Centre is also a great resource for wellbeing and emotional support If there were two things I could improve they would be: - more use of digital communication which is currently mostly by letter/telephone - speedier dispensary of prescriptions at the pharmacy Thank you Royal Surrey :)
