12th January 2020

Was referred to the Ambulatory Emergency Care Unit on Thursday 10th January 2020 from the Health Centre in Hanley for checking for a blood clot with suspected Cellulitis of the right leg. The procedure was streamlined in a clean friendly atmosphere with utmost professionalism. I had to use a mobile chair and porter to get to the unit due to my leg and COPD. I was given the all clear for a a blood clot given medication for that night and a prescription. On leaving we asked for a porter only to be taken back down to main reception by the receptionist at the unit. She was really kind, helpful and couldn't do enough. Don't know her name but thank you so much. All in all a top notch unit with lovely staff.
