Felt very nauseous post-up, I had only had a drink of water at 6:30 am and vomited up sips of fluid post-up. Asked for liquids, at 7 pm. Transferred from ward 10 to 11 at 8 pm. Asked for fluids to be put on drip stand but this did not happen until 9 om due to nursing handover, where it emerged fluid being was still completely full and had not been started yet.

Suggested improvements
I was asked to come in at 07:15 but did not got to theatre until 1 pm by which point I was quite dehydrated and felt very nauseous post-up. Next time it would be nice to be offered some water pre-op do not forget cannot crutched and { } when transferring to a different ward.
