I was most impressed by the staff and how I was treated by them. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, kind and helpful. I was admitted as a day case patient but due to a change of plan had to stay overnight which I was unsure of at first. The staff on ward two were very attentive and caring. As I couldn’t walk without crutches staff helped me move around and regularly checked in on me for refreshments and to check my blood pressure. I was very comfortable. When I spent the first day on the day case ward the staff there before surgery were also very kind and helpful. Gary and Phyl in particular took great care of me there. I was waiting for a long time before going down to theatre due to a complication with the patient before me so I was quite dehydrated and had to have a drink in the afternoon. I arrive at the hospital at 7.05 and by 7.25 I was on the day case ward and was being seen to by staff. All checks were completed by 9.15. I had my surgery around 4pm and arrived on ward 2 for the night at around 7pm. I cannot fault the care I have received from nurses, Anaesthetists and Mr Prem and his team. I would 100% recommend this hospital for the care I have received.
