I came into the orthopaedic or a hip revision of my left hip. The staff have been amazing from the porter's healthcare domestic, nurses doctors physio's theatre team, anaesthetic team and also the kitchen staff for making comforting food with lots of last. I will be putting a letter into senior management complimenting you on the service you provide and I really hope when I have { } came back to have my night hip revised I have the same team. Well done./nThank you all.

The only thing would be to remember when a patient has to have a bed pan, they also need toilet paper and a wet cloth to wipe hands after.

Review of Ward 4, written by a patient

1) Whilst I appreciate there are a lot of patients to care for I think 30 minutes on waiting for a response to pressuring the buzzer is too long /n2) Main concern is having to wait for over an hour ( was told 30 minutes) for oral pain homogenous when the pain was excruciating./n3) given a bed pain (without the plastic base) so it broke and urine everywhere necessitating a change of lines and my clothes that were fresh on.

* Ensure critical information is passed on at 'hand over' relating no to pain relief therapy eliminating a dreadful painful experience that made me also feel nervous and made me shake involuntary machine subsequently. I was made to feel it was my fault as I had to ask for it. Which of course I had several times./n* No ICE machine broken.

Felt very nauseous post-up, I had only had a drink of water at 6:30 am and vomited up sips of fluid post-up. Asked for liquids, at 7 pm. Transferred from ward 10 to 11 at 8 pm. Asked for fluids to be put on drip stand but this did not happen until 9 om due to nursing handover, where it emerged fluid being was still completely full and had not been started yet.

I was asked to come in at 07:15 but did not got to theatre until 1 pm by which point I was quite dehydrated and felt very nauseous post-up. Next time it would be nice to be offered some water pre-op do not forget cannot crutched and { } when transferring to a different ward.
