I have had an in going vocal chord lesion problem for a couple of years, and this was a place I got referred to. The service is outstanding. They actually go above and beyond and I'd say this is more like private than NHS. I have never felt more confident in someone about to slice my vocal chords. The building is run down, but the quality of doctors and nurses are literally the best. Best in the world I'm sure.

Fantastic staff !!, very sympathetic to my voice disorder. I came for a second opinion, having been previously told that I am difficult. S & L therapist is an amazing man, he took the time to listen to me and explained everything to me.

I see there are no reviews on here for a very long time. Surgery August 2017. Surgeons and doctors very caring. Nurses on the ward totally involved on their mobile phones and it has put this amazing hospital to shame. Would not recommend unless they change the nursing staff. Need staff who want to be there.

Fantastic hospital with really lovely staff. I've always been treated so well and with utmost dignity and respect. I've had more surgeries here than I can count and they always remember me by name when I come back. The food is lovely too which is a great bonus. Make an effort to treat the staff well and they'll really look after you in return. I highly recommend this hospital!

I felt that the staff that this hospital were brilliant. They were very attentive and humble. I would lie to thank everyone that looked after me before my surgery and after surgery this was the best experience I have every had at a hospital. They made me feel proud to have them take care of me. Thank you for all your hard work and humbleness you give on a daily basis.

I was an inpatient on C award for a surgical procedure (septonasal rhinoplasty + graft). I was extremely well looked after waiting for my surgery, and kept calm by the staff. After coming through the anaesthetic, the level of care I received was amazing. I was moved to a side room on B Ward prior to discharge, and the staff there kept their eye on me very well. I couldn't have been treated better. Thank y all very much.

Very positive, but that said: crowded, hence substantial waiting times at various stages. Building a bit rundown.

I was seen by Dr. Amro Hassaan. He examined me thoroughly, with great care and consideration. He diagnosed the causes of my problems and advised me on diet and lifestyle to lessen the problems. He then explained my medication and how I should take it. I have had my condition for years and no doctor I have seen has come up with a solution. With one visit, Dr. Hassaan has diagnosed and remedied my condition. I am so grateful for his expertise and commitment. Thank you. The other staff who attended me were very kind and I noticed how patient they were with people who were asking them questions. My only complaint is the long waiting time. Why make so many appointments on the one day? Yvonne Forshaw
