my answers above would equally apply to the Westmorland Hostpital
I saw Mr Siva at Bridlington Hospital. I had a small procedure on my nostril. Everything was explained to me fully and how to take care of it to heal well. My follow up appointment was excellent. I was very pleased with the result and I was informed about future care. Mr Siva was very communicative and listened to what I had to say.
I was seen in a timely manner.
All staff members I came across were very professional and polite.
I would have no hesitation in going back to Bridlington Hospital if necessary.
No everything was spot on
Nothing more to add
have spent more time in royal lancaster hospital in the last 4 years than in the the last 40 years, staff have always been excellent the care super , i feel that iam only still here due to them. only negative is that some times the food was hit and miss ,know that this is a wider problem not sure about the way to solve this issue
I have a very complex medical history and have had many referrals to R.L.I. both as an outpatient as an in patient. I have ALWAYS been treated with great care, compassion and patience and have never been made to feel a 'problem patient' because of my complex medical history.
Early on in the COVID pandemic, I was admitted to R.L.I. and suffered from a takostubo cardiomyopathy and was not expected to survive. My family and I cannot praise the doctors, nurses and ALL the staff (medical and non medical) involved in my care and follow up, enough. I am aware of the tremendous pressure the N.H.S. is under at this time and think that not enough thanks and support is given to the staff.
My Husband attended his Vascular appointment this morning, only to be told that there was not a Clinic & that his appointment had been cancelled unbeknown to him, apparently last December (NO communication of this had been received). However, with the exceptional service received by the WONDERFUL Departmental Staff, initially, Jackie (reception) who spoke to The Vascular Nurse (Sarah Adamson), who "bent over backwards" to not only check & review the foot ulcer, but she contacted the Specialist Podiatrist (Kim Brown) & her Colleague (Ellie) who carried out debridement & redress of the ulcer plus pulse checks & other tests & follow up appointment's were arranged.
This AMAZING Team is an absolute credit to the NHS & My Husband & I will be forever grateful for their kindness & unbelievable professionalism shown to us throughout our visit.
Kindest regards & so much respect!!!!

,
First of all it was easy to go by bus for my consultation. I was welcomed by the staff and immediately given information of what I could expect will happen during the time that I was there. It was a clean and friendly enviroment. ALL the staff was friendly and kind. They made me feel at ease. Thank you so much for all the care midst all the the difficulties.
The hospital feels friendly and personable.
