I have only been an outpatient. The treatment I have received on each occasion has been good and all the staff very pleasant.

My treatment was primarily at the Westmoreland General Hospital as well as Lancaster Royal Infirmary. Staff always caring and attentive. Very clean environment. I was made to feel totally confident in all the staff. When undertaking Urodynamic Tests the room was inappropriately cramped. The staff made up for my concerns. They were very professional, but having to undress behind an inadequate screen must be disturbing for some people.

The Car Parking facilities need to be improved as I cold not park my car anywhere near the Lancaster Hospital and had to walk a long way in the pouring rain recently, otherwise the Hospital is fine,no complaints about it or its very helpful staff

Access to this hospital is a disgrace. the only way I can arrive for an appointment on time and park a vehicle is if I use my motorcycle. Parking a car was almost impossible. Living in Arnside I can get to the hospital either by train, bus or motor vehicle. I would use public transport if it was convenient and did not involve a lengthy walk.

I was there a long time, and it would have been really good if I could have purchased a drink and something to eat

I was admitted to A and E in February with sudden urinary attention. I was seen within an hour, examined, catheterized and sent home. I had a follow up appointment at the Urology Department after 2 weeks. The catheter was successfully removed, and I was taught how to self-catheterize using ISC equipment when I went home, if the need arose.. I was also given a repeat prescription for ISC. Although this was obviously an unpleasant and stressful experience, I must say that at both A and E and in Urology I was treated with great respect, patience and kindness, and was able to return home reassured that I could cope - which I have! Many, many thanks.

I haven't actually had any treatment yet, but any any dealings I have had in the past with the RLI have been very good.
