The day care wasn't good at all, down to times I was the last one down, not that mind but the staff that day were terrible, and we're no help, it was right time for you to leave, no sorry was not happy

Telephone appointment. Switchboard staff are nice. Stop hiring private moonlighters that don't care about NHS patients.

Amazing care and kindness from first consultation to surgery. Stayed on N2 after surgery, very clean and caring. Everyone very friendly, I felt involved in everything that was happening. Have been an inpatient in many different hospitals over the years but this is by far the best.
The only (very minor) thing that could do with improvement is on discharge, absolutely no fault of ward staff but was waiting for medication for 4 hours after being told I could go home. Again no one to blame, seems the system needs sorting. Ward staff tried very hard to get it done.
Would absolutely recommend the hospital to anyone, huge thanks to all involved in my care.

From diagnosis and through two sets of surgery, the staff were fantastic and facilities clean and comfortable. The only pitfall of my visits has been the skeleton doctoral staff at weekends, coupled with an obvious lack of suitable IT. On both occasions it took 5-12 hours from being advised of discharge to receiving prescriptions and a discharge letter. This is hugely stressful on patients and staff and I felt rather sorry that these brilliant professionals were being slowed down by underfunding from government. Thank you NHS

The team that looked after me were truely perfect in every way. The staff at this hospital are true professionals and nothing was too much trouble.
I will be admitted again in the new year and I do not have any worries at all.

The Royal Hallamshire is a life saving hospital of the highest standard as far as I am concerned.
In Oct 2016 I had Brain surgery to remove a 3 inch Meningioma, Mr McMullan & his Team on wards N1 & N2 were outstanding from beginning to end, everything runs like clockwork, their attention to detail is second to non.
I had further treatment surgery in ENT three months later with Miss Lim, this department was no different, just amazing.
Well done The Royal Hallamshire.

I was sent here after ringing out of hours health help. Was seen to fairly quickly and was out and ease. The nurses on were all pleasant and polite. During my visit I never felt like a burden.
