My baby is currently being looked after by this hospital and they are absolutely amazing. I can not fault the nurses and staff on the children’s ward. I have nothing but admiration and praise for this wonderful team
60 yr old male with signs of prostate cancer.
Needed a biopsy and follow up consultation in Urology.
All staff from reception to consultant were completely focussed on providing a great service and they completely succeeded.
They seemed to make you feel that you were not just a patient, but that you were the centre of attention and your wellbeing really mattered.
I was rush to the Royal Gwent recently as my blood sugars were very low and l was having a hypo. Everyone from the paramedics to the nurses were brilliant and so caring.
My sister in law is in Ward B3 and she cannot speak highly enough of her treatment..My daughter and I went to visit her and we also were treated with kindness and thoughtfulness even before we reached the ward a gentleman arranged a wheel chair to help me as it was a long walk,,thank you so much for the care my sister in law is receiving, for the cleanliness ]of he ward and for everything Dorothy McBain
Had a mini stroke, second one. everything from the start was first class. Great work .Thank you Staff in every grade.
My elderly other was in an orthopaedic ward C5 West after fracturing her hip. The ward manager and acting ward sister Claire deserve special mention for the quality of care and attention to detail. The care offered by all staff on the ward was excellent. THANKYOU.
The team on majors were a credit to their profession
The staff were proactive to my mother's complex needs and positively
Reactive to imput from the Family.
Both my children have a life long condition meaning they have more hospital stays than most and have been in and out in the last few weeks. The staff are very caring and work so hard at their job but are so understanding and make the little people feel at ease. As a parent they have shown me compassion care and understanding as well as an excellent standard of care for my children. They have made a very difficult time a lot easier and cannot fault the hospital at all.
I visited the RGH today for a flexible cystoscope and ultrasound kidney scan. I couldn’t fault my treatment from start to finish. The procedure was explained very well to me and was much better than I expected. I Would like to pass on my appreciation to all the staff that I seen. I must apologise for only knowing Maureen Hunters name but my thanks goes to her and her colugues. Best regards Steve
I am writing a belated report as I was not aware these forums existed. I was not a patient but my uncle was.
He spent 3 months in the Gwent and his life ended there. He was treated with respect at all times, his care was excellent, from the cleaning staff to the consultant everyone was so kind.
Although visiting times on his ward was from 3-4 in the afternoon the staff allowed me to visit every day from early morning and stay all day.
A sincere thank you to the staff at the Royal Gwent, I can't rate you highly enough.
