Share review of The Royal Free Hospital
My best mate F, 89yrs old had a fall last Friday. Spent nearly 3.5hrs on the floor. Ambulance eventually go him to Royal Free Hospital.
Staff at Royal Free think they’re above scrutiny and can do as they please.
You never can speak to the nurse on the phone no matter how many times you ring (if they bother to pick up).
You are disruptive if you show up out of visiting hours (despite flying in from Spain) they don’t care.
And in a dismissive manner, tell you to go and stand or sit by the patients bed until the GP comes by.
GP told me he’s seeing one other patient and will be straight back. An hour later GP returns.
When I voiced my concern that the Royal Free staff have not contacted the patients next of kin in Derbyshire about the patient’s diagnosis to F’s GP- Dr Kumar he looked nonplussed and shrugged his shoulders. Not my problem.
They could care less about the older generation. It’s a disgrace.
