I have been a patient of The Royal Free for a number of years, mainly of the Haemophilia Centre and the Urology Department, both of which have treated me with consideration and care.  The Consultant Urological Surgeon, Mr. Singh, and the Clinical Nurse Specialists, Isabel Rooke and Majorie Espiritu, have supported me consistently and diligently; I felt I mattered to them. Mr. Ellis, Consultant Urological Surgeon, referred me for Prostate Artery Embolisation after discussing all my options with me.  Then Dr. Khalifa, Consultant Radiologist, and his team discussed the procedure in detail with me.  They carried it out in a relaxed, competent manner that put me at ease and followed up on the outcome though they were not on duty.  Specialist Sister Mina Karamshi, was central to my care.  Best of all, PAE was a miraculous success.
