I was admitted to ward 308 following elective surgery and received excellent care throughout. The staff were kind, compassionate and professional and I felt fully included in decisions about my care. Senior Sister Mandy, RN’s Beth & Mae, and Assistant Practitioner Karen deserve a special mention for their outstanding care - thank you.

I recently had Bariatric bypass surgery under the care of Mr Currie and his team my experience was overwhelming as I felt totally safe to be in the care of Mr Curry and his team.after my operation I was transferred to Ward 308. I can’t express enough of the care and compassion I received on the ward. The staff went out their way to make me feel as comfortable and safe as I could be,sitting with me explaining to me about my diet and helping me in every way they could night and day, one team member on Ward 308 I would like to shout out to one of the nurses there that became very special to me. Is Karen Moss she went above and beyond to make me feel as comfortable as she could sitting with me talking to me when I was feeling tearful and explaining fully to me things that I was worried about , thank you for all your great care on ward 308.

Totally amazing place, I was well looked after all night long, I had no problems at all not one I was discharged the next morning with all my medication and letters to inform my own GP room was amazing nice and clean all staff were so friendly, felt part of the family there.

I had my Gastric Sleeve surgery 3 months ago and it's been truly life changing and life saving all in one, no longer Pre-diabetic, knee and foot pains gone and a whole load of confidence gained. So far I've lost 7st 1.5lbs in 4 months including my LRD, no regrets at all even on the tough days. Thank you for everything.

I had never had an operation before, so I did not know what to expect, but if I ever need one again, I would be very pleased with DRH. The staff were so kind, helpful and respectful - they were excellent. The facilities were modern and faultlessly clean. I could not have wished for a better experience.
