If you want great care then I would not recommend Royal Bournemouth.
The medical care and on occassions nursing care has been poor.
My Aunt has rarely seen a doctor and when she has they have failed to listen and so done nothing to improve her state of health or mind.
The nurses seem understaffed, if you ask for help, you are told " not now, I'm busy" but that is very distressing when you are elderly, unable to move and urgently need the toilet. And that's providing you get a response, while visiting I have witnessed nurses walking into bays of patients and totally ignoring the bells or worse still, simply switching it off and walking away.
The only thing I cannot fault is the cleanliness.
I would be loathed to have My Aunt admitted again. This episode has been distressing for her and distressing for the rest of our family.
