Share review of Royal Blackburn Teaching Hospital
In the early hours of Saturday 20th July I was taken to Blackburn Hospital by ambulance as an Emergency, I was very unwell with some symptoms of Sepsis. I can't fault the care that I received, which began with the amazing paramedics who came out to me. Hayley & Laura thank you for your care, compassion and professionalism. In Emergency Care I had excellent treatment from Dr Mohammed, who was calm and kind, he kept me informed throughout a long day of tests and examinations. When his shift was ending he came to see me and tell me what was going to happen next and ask if I had any questions. I want to thank all the staff in Emergency Care Zone 5, who looked after me and showed me care and compassion. I was moved to the Acute Assessment Unit, again I received excellent treatment from all the staff, I saw several Doctors and had more investigations before moving to B8. The staff on B8 were wonderful, I was not at my best and they were extremely busy but they all showed me care and compassion. Thank you to everyone who was involved in my care and treatment during my stay, you do an amazing job in difficult circumstances.
