Very caring and professional staff, only observation I would make is the shortage of staff, especially porters. I lay in the corridor having had an ex-Ray for one and a half hours waiting to return to ward 23.
My ex-Ray was on Friday 4th July 2017
Your hospital is well run and staff a real credit to NHS.
Nurses are angels.
The main entrance to the hospital had a lot of cigarette ends at the doorway. The seating area for the patients was a bit tired looking, I think instead of anouncing your address to people who are waiting to be checked in, it would be better for the staff at reception just to ask if you were still living at the same address! (You never know who is behind you at the check in desk!) I was looked after just the same as always, just a nurse shouting your name and showing you to the Dr's room. The nurses seem friendly enough. There was a young secondary school boy doing some work experience in with the consultant I seen, and I was asked if he could stay. I was fine with this as it is good experience for them.
