Although short handed they did their best i only found out i was being kept when the in patient form was bought round. This was before the pain killer requested an hoyr before. The catering staff could at least offer a choice rather than assuming white bread is it. Biscuits for breakfast .

I was walked into the hospital with chest pains having felt nauseous and light headed and concerned. I could. feel a panick attach was coming on and my husband was alerting the A and E department. They did absolutely nothing and they did not even try to help or assist me. I left the hospital thereafter as no ci side ration was given to me.

Suggested improvements
They could have at least seen what they felt was the issue. I was sweating and feeling very unwell. The ambulance had taken three hours to get to us in any event

Once I got through an initial negative indifferent triage by reception nurse on computer Everything there after was very good from all levels of staff including tea trolley people everyone

Suggested improvements
I have red cars and passport for lung cancer which I did show as directed. Going to reception walking back out to a nurse on computer that made me feel I had virtually no right to be there then back to reception then told to walk to A&E with clearly no thought given to my lung capacity to make the journey That needs to be improved 100 % After that though everything was very good and I would have rated everything very good if not for that

Caring and professional attitude from all staff at all levels

Suggested improvements
Long wait for transport but this seems to be a staffing problem and not to do with administration

I had to give up my wheelchair to someone else who needed it while I was waiting and unable to walk myself. Once it was my turn there was no wheelchair available and was forced to lean and hop all the way to the doctors office and thought i was going to pass out Also was in three different areas that promised me pain killers and was only given it at the last place after asking and pestering for an hour and my pulse rate was increasing due to the pain

Suggested improvements
Just read the patients paperwork that stated I am unable to walk and not wait for it to be my turn and then ask me if I’m able to walk to the office instead of organising a wheelchair before coming to get me

I was sent by my doctor with what could be a very serious condition the specialist consultant on call wasn’t even called to see me and they had been notified by GP I am now having to go private for a second opinion as my symptoms are still very much present. The care i received for this possible condition wasn’t good enough seems as my gp called ahead to let you know so was coming in.

Suggested improvements
Done as my gp asked
